The cellar

The Amastuola vineyard produces organic wines born from the encounter between tradition and research. Each wine is a faithful expression of the unique Amastuola terroir and is the result of careful experimentation work. The vines from which these wines are born are of different qualities, namely: Primitivo, Aglianico, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Fiano, Malvasia and White Malvasia.

Harvest

Making wine for us means adopting a different collection technique for each type of grape: the harvest of whites, for example, always takes place during the night hours of the second half of August. This is because the low night-time temperature prevents any unwanted fermentations from being triggered. The harvest of red, on the contrary, takes place at a later time and during the daytime hours. We alternate mechanical harvest with strictly manual gathering, for example in the case of Centosassi and Lamarossa.
